Yesterday I stumbled upon two shops…both with the same name. The name also describes one of my favorite things, Bread+Butter.
One Bread + Butter (also known as Found11Objects.etsy) is out of Portland Oregon and showcases the work of Tay MacIntyre who makes amazing necklaces out of vintage clock hands. They are really, really great. Really! Check out the nice post on DesignSponge that Grace wrote about Tay’s studio last week.
The other Bread + Butter is out of Brooklyn showcases the work of Carol, Deb and Kelly. They have really cool hand cut framed typographic artwork, letterpress cards and hand embossed stationary with cute sayings like, “wft,”sayonara” and “btw.”
Both of these shops are a must see!
Good grief I love that Home Sweet Home piece! Favoriting now… : ) [And glad Tay's getting some love - we're both from Portland and did a neat, small show with a small group of folks last year.] I’ll be back to the site again soon and often!
